Acer AT350 F2 Video Card
There are two types of video cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Most new desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a graphics card to be installed. A dedicated graphics card is pretty much required for any high-end games you play on a desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. All video cards processes the input and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where it is displayed for you. Currently, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second. Integrated, or onboard, graphics will never be better than a separate video card, generally speaking.
What to see if the video graphics card is almost dead?
- Your display depicts fragmented images
- Your Acer crashes when starting a game
- Nothing seems to show up as you attempt to boot up
- A driver for the video card fails to install like it should
