Acer AcerPower 2000 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is blanked out every time your turn the computer off. RAM stores random bits of data that the central processing unit uses for applications. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it has a positive impact on the speed of your desktop. Your desktop will not boot without having the RAM installed. The clock speed of the RAM is dictated by the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is governed by the operating system. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that bigger is always better!
Warnings of a declining RAM board
- The system produces random errors on your desktop throughout the day
- The screen does not light up when booting up
- Silence when attempting to power on your system
- The OS fails to come up with the correct amount of memory installed
