Acer Altos G710 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as dedicated graphic cards, generally speaking. A video card processes the input and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where it is displayed for you. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one spot available for a graphics card to be added to the system. Dedicated video cards are pretty much required for any high-end games you play on a desktop like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. At the moment, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second.

- The monitor produces lines
- The Acer Altos G710 restarts when trying to start up a graphic intensive game
- The display does not turn on when booting up
