Acer Altos R710 Wifi
You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your Acer server. The WiFi in your server, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your router. Most new Wifi adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest.
Clues of an inadequate WiFi adapter
- The wireless adapter driver gives errors when installing
- The wireless adapter on your server does not connect at all
- The WiFi goes out randomly over and over again
