Acer Aspire 1400 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the information held gets removed every time you turn your laptop off. Your laptop RAM stores small bits of data that the central processing unit uses for programs. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. Instead, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. The clock speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, while the size is dictated by the operating system. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for your laptop to run. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
How can I tell if my RAM memory is about to fail?
- The main operating system does not show the right RAM size
- The screen will not display anything when you start your laptop
- Nothing happens when trying to initiate your system
- You get a lot of access errors on your laptop intermittently
