Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your Acer laptop. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. It is much simpler to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
