Acer Aspire 3630 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of information that the computer uses for applications. Some RAM is mandatory even for a computer to run. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets blanked out when you shut down your system. The speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is guided by the operating system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of your Acer Aspire 3630. If there is ever a doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
What are the indications that my RAM memory needs replacing?
- The screen does not light up when booting up
- Silence when attempting to power on your system
- The system produces random errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The system does not report the right RAM size
