Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your Acer laptop. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to connect to your router and modem. You are better off buying a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
