Acer Aspire 4710Z Ram
RAM is actually volatile memory as all the data it holds gets erased every time you turn your laptop off. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of data that the computer uses for applications. The speed of the RAM is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. Your laptop will not boot without the necessary RAM properly installed. If you are ever in doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Some clues your RAM is on its last leg
- The main screen does not display correctly when starting up
- The main operating system fails to come up with the right amount of memory installed
- Nothing happens when attempting to boot up your laptop
- The OS produces weird errors showing up on your laptop intermittently
