Acer Aspire 5670 Wifi
A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your Acer laptop. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
Clues to watch for to know your internal WiFi is on its last leg
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The wireless adapter on your laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- Your wireless internet connection goes in and out during the day
