Acer Aspire 5910G Ram
The RAM in your computer stores small bits of data that the computer uses for applications. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the data it holds gets deleted when you shut down your system. Some RAM is mandatory for your laptop to run. The clock speed of the RAM is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is governed by the operating system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. If there is ever a doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Elements of a poorly working RAM board
- The main screen will not turn on when you start your laptop
- The main operating system does not display the correct amount of RAM as it should
- Nothing happens when attempting to start your system
- You tend to have invalid access errors on your laptop throughout the day
