Acer Aspire 5930 Ram
Your laptop RAM stores small bits of information that the processor uses for programs. The speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is determined by the OS. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is blanked out when you shut down your system. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like programs or emails. But, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. RAM is crucial in order for a computer to run correctly. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Some warnings the RAM needs replacing
- The laptop screen will not display correctly when booting up
- You may get quite a few random reboots on your laptop intermittently
- The software does not display the correct amount of RAM as it should
- Nothing happens when trying to boot up your system
