Acer Aspire 7730 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home router. Most new Wifi adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your laptop. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
What are the indications that my wireless card needs to be replaced?
- The wireless adapter driver gives errors when installing
- The WiFi adapter in your Acer laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The wireless signal goes in and out all the time
