Acer Aspire E1-522 Ram
Your laptop RAM stores small bits of information that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets erased every time your turn the computer off. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for your laptop to run correctly. The RAM speed is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the OS. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, remember that bigger is always better!
Signs of a weakening stick of RAM
- Nothing happens when attempting to power on your system
- You get a lot of random reboots on your laptop intermittently
- The system cannot report the right memory amount
- The screen will not light up when booting up
