Acer Aspire E5-752 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of information for the CPU to use for applications. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the OS. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the information held gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. RAM is crucial for a computer to run. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Hints that your RAM board will eventually need to be replaced
- Nothing happens when you start your system
- The main screen does not turn on when you start your laptop
- You may get quite a few access errors on your laptop as you use it
- The OS does not display the right RAM amount
