Acer Aspire L310 Video Card
A video card processes graphics and renders images to the monitor where it is displayed for you. Most new desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a dedicated video card to be added to the system. There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Currently, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Integrated video cards are not as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for any high-end games you play on a desktop like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield.
