Acer Aspire M5600 Video Card
Most new desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a dedicated video card to be installed. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated graphics are integrated into the motherboard itself, while dedicated is a separarate piece of hardware that gets installed. A dedicated graphics card is pretty much required for high-end games on the desktop like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as a dedicated video card, in general. All video cards processes the input and renders images to the monitor where it is displayed for you. Currently, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place.
Some warnings the video graphics card is failing
