Acer Aspire M5711 Video Card
A dedicated graphics card is usually necessary for high-end games on the desktop like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are not as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. A video card computes and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where it is displayed for you. Most new desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a dedicated video card to be added to the system. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. At the moment, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place.
