Acer Iconia A101 Wifi
The WiFi in your tablet, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your router. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your Acer tablet. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. It will be easier to buy a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your tablet may have.
Some clues of a defective WiFi adapter
- Your WiFi on your tablet does not connect at all
- The wireless adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The wireless signal disconnects itself over and over again
