Acer TravelMate 4000 Ram
Your laptop RAM stores pieces of data that the central processing unit uses for executing commands. RAM is actually temporary storage as the data it holds is erased when you shut down your system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. Instead, it has more to do with the overall speed and quickness of your Acer. The RAM speed is predetermined through the specs of the motherboard, while the size is guided by the operating system. Some RAM is mandatory even for the Acer TravelMate 4000 to boot up. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Elements of a declining stick of RAM
- The laptop screen will not display correctly when you turn your system on
- The software does not display the correct RAM size
- The OS produces random errors on your laptop intermittently
- Nothing happens when trying to start your laptop
