Acer Veriton 7500 Video Card
There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. All video cards computes and renders images to the monitor where you can see the results. Almost all newer desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a graphics card to be installed on the motherboard. A dedicated graphics card is pretty much required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. At the moment, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is in second.
