Acer Veriton 7600GT Ram
Some RAM is mandatory in order for a computer to boot up. RAM stores random bits of information that the central processing unit uses for programs. RAM is a type of volatile memory as all the data it holds gets removed when you shut down your system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like programs or emails. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, while the size is guided by the OS. If you are ever in doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
What are the clues to watch out for to know my desktop memory is not working properly?
- You tend to have random reboots on your desktop as you use it
- The desktop screen does not turn on when booting up
- The main operating system fails to come up with the correct memory size
- Emptiness fills the air when trying to boot up your system
