Acer Veriton 7600V Video Card
There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. At the moment, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated video card market, while AMD is in second. Dedicated video cards are typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. A video card processes graphics and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a dedicated video card to be installed.
