Acer Veriton N2110G Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your desktop. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your router. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
How do you know if your onboard WiFi is not working properly?
- Your wireless internet connection goes out randomly over and over again
- The WiFi adapter on your desktop will not connect to your router anymore
- The desktop wireless driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
