Apple MD388LL-A Ram
RAM is necessary in order for your desktop to even boot. RAM is actually temporary storage as all the data it holds gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the OS. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of your desktop. RAM stores random bits of information that the central processing unit uses for applications. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
What are some hints that my Apple RAM is failing?
- The main operating system cannot report the right amount of memory installed
- The screen will not display correctly when you turn your system on
- Nothing happens as you start your desktop
- You get a lot of invalid access errors on your desktop as you use it
