Apple Macintosh LC 575 Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the operating system that is installed on your Apple Macintosh LC 575. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
What warnings are present when my wireless internet adapter is not working properly?
- The WiFi adapter on your desktop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The wireless adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- Your WiFi signal disconnects itself during the day
