Apple Power Macintosh 8600 Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your Apple Power Macintosh 8600. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
Signs of an unhealthy WiFi adapter
- The desktop wireless driver cannot be installed
- The wireless signal disconnects and reconnects over and over again
- The wireless adapter on your desktop is unable to connect to the internet
