Asus AP2400R-E1 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data that the central processing unit uses for applications. The clock speed of the RAM is prescribed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the size is determined by the OS. RAM is a type of temporary storage as all the data it holds gets deleted when you shut down your system. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for your server to boot up. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of your Asus AP2400R-E1. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
What happens when my server memory has to be replaced?
- The server screen does not display correctly when you start your server
- The software fails to come up with the right RAM amount
- You may get quite a few access errors on your server intermittently
- Emptiness fills the air as you start your system
