Asus CM6730 Ram
RAM is a type of volatile memory as all the information held gets erased every time your turn the computer off. The RAM in your computer stores random bits of information for the CPU to use for applications. The RAM speed is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, while the size is dictated by the OS. RAM is necessary even for your desktop to boot up. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Important signs that your RAM board will die soon
- The system does not report the correct amount of memory installed
- Silence when trying to initiate your system
- You tend to have random errors on your desktop throughout the day
- The main screen will not light up when you start your desktop
