Asus N56VM-RB51 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of data for the CPU to use for executing commands. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for your laptop to even boot. The RAM speed is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the operating system. RAM is a type of volatile memory as all the information held gets erased every time your turn the computer off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that bigger is always better!
How do you know when your stick of RAM is crapping out?
- The main screen does not light up when you turn your system on
- The main operating system cannot report the right amount of RAM as it should
- Emptiness fills the air when you initiate your laptop
- You may get quite a few invalid access errors on your laptop intermittently
