Asus N61JQ-A1 Ram
RAM is considered temporary storage as its storage is blanked out every time your turn the computer off. The speed of the RAM is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, while the size is governed by the software. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for your laptop to run at all. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your laptop. Your laptop RAM stores random bits of information that the central processing unit uses for applications. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
How do you know when your RAM board is crapping out?
- You tend to have errors on your laptop intermittently
- The main screen does not turn on when booting up
- The system does not show the correct amount of RAM as it should
- Emptiness fills the air as you try to boot up your system
