Upon choosing a replacement adapter, choosing the Asus brand one is the best one to choose. Due to the fact that one Asus adapter is probably used on other similar units, be sure you choose the right one. The Asus T100TA power adapter provides two functions, to charge the onboard battery and to provide a source of power for the unit. If your decision is to purchase a different brand charger, it is imperative to note both the voltage and amperage output. A universal power adapter can be used if you are desperate.
