Asus TS300-E5 Ram
RAM is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets erased every time you turn your server off. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the OS. Some RAM is mandatory even for the Asus TS300-E5 to run at all. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. But, it does have a correlation to the overall speed and quickness of your Asus. Your server RAM stores random bits of information for the CPU to use for applications. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Do you know if your RAM board is not working properly?
- The OS fails to come up with the right amount of RAM
- The server screen will not display anything when starting up
- Emptiness fills the air when attempting to power on your server
- You get a lot of invalid access errors on your server intermittently
