BenQ Joybook 5000 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. It will be easier to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your laptop. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
Some warnings to watch for in a failing WiFi adapter
- The wireless adapter in your BenQ laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- Your WiFi signal goes out randomly over and over again
- The wireless adapter driver cannot be installed
