Compaq LTE 5280 Ram
Your desktop RAM stores random bits of data that the central processing unit uses for executing commands. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. Having the RAM installed is mandatory even for a computer to run. The clock speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is determined by the system software. RAM is actually temporary storage as its storage is removed every time your turn the computer off. If you are ever in doubt, remember that you can never have too much RAM.
What are some indications that my desktop memory is crapping out?
- The screen does not display anything when you start your desktop
- Nothing happens as you try to initiate your system
- The OS does not display the correct memory size
- The system produces random errors on your desktop throughout the day
