Compaq LTE 5380 Ram
Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for your desktop to boot up. The speed of the RAM is dictated by the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is dictated by the OS. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of information that the CPU is currently using for applications. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like programs or emails. Instead, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. RAM is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is deleted every time you turn your desktop off. If there is ever a doubt, remember that you can never have too much RAM.
Some clues your RAM memory is dying
- The software cannot report the correct amount of RAM as it should
- The desktop screen does not display anything when you start your desktop
- You get a lot of random reboots on your desktop as you use it
- Nothing happens when attempting to initiate your system
