Dell Alienware ALPHA Ram
Some RAM is mandatory in order for a computer to run correctly. Your desktop RAM stores random bits of data that the computer uses for executing commands. The RAM speed is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the OS. RAM is a type of volatile memory as the data it holds is blanked out every time your turn the computer off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
What are some hints that my RAM memory is failing?
- The system produces random reboots on your desktop intermittently
- The screen does not display correctly when booting up
- The system does not show the right memory amount
- Nothing happens when you boot up your system
