Dell Alienware X51 R2 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is blanked out every time you turn your desktop off. The RAM speed is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the system software. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. Instead, it will impact the speed of your desktop. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data that the central processing unit uses for programs. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for a computer to run. If you are ever in doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!

- The system cannot report the correct amount of RAM as it should
