Dell Inspiron 1210 Wifi
Searching for a new adapter is simple because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your Dell laptop. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem.
Do you know if your wireless internet adapter needs replacing?
- Your wireless internet connection goes in and out during the day
- The wireless adapter on your laptop does not connect at all
- The laptop wireless driver cannot be installed
