Dell Inspiron 14 3421 Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter in order to connect to your router and modem. Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your laptop. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest.
How do you know if your onboard WiFi is about to stop working?
- Your wireless internet connection disconnects and reconnects during the day
- Your WiFi on your laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- The wireless adapter driver gives errors when installing
