Dell Inspiron 2600 Ram
The Dell Inspiron 2600 will not boot without the necessary RAM properly installed. The RAM in your computer stores small bits of information for the CPU to use for executing commands. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the data it holds gets deleted when the system shuts down. The RAM speed is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the operating system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. But, it has more to do with the overall speed and quickness of your Dell. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, remember that bigger is always better!
How do you know if your Dell RAM is not working right?
- Nothing happens when you start your system
- The software does not show the correct amount of RAM as it should
- You may get quite a few access errors on your laptop as you use it
- The laptop screen will not display correctly when you start your laptop
