Dell Inspiron 3138 Wifi
Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Dell Inspiron 3138. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home network. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
Subtle hints your internal WiFi has very little life left
- The wireless adapter driver gives errors when installing
- Your WiFi signal goes out randomly over and over again
- The WiFi adapter in your Dell laptop is unable to connect to the internet
