Dell Inspiron 530B Ram
Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets removed when you shut down your system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. Instead, it will affect the speed of the computer. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of information that the CPU is currently using for applications. The clock speed of the RAM is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the system software. Some RAM is mandatory in order for a computer to even boot. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Subtle cues to watch for in a bad stick of RAM
- The desktop screen will not display correctly when you turn your system on
- The OS does not show the right amount of RAM
- You tend to have weird errors showing up on your desktop intermittently
- Silence when attempting to start your desktop
