Dell Inspiron 530C Ram
RAM stores random bits of data that the processor uses for applications. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. RAM is a type of temporary storage as the data it holds is blanked out every time you turn your desktop off. The RAM speed is predetermined through the specs of the motherboard, while the size is guided by the operating system. Having the RAM installed is mandatory even for your desktop to run at all. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
What red flags are there that my desktop memory is in need of replacing?
- Silence when trying to start your desktop
- The system produces errors on your desktop throughout the day
- The screen does not turn on when you turn your system on
- The main operating system fails to come up with the right amount of RAM
