Dell Inspiron 6400 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your laptop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
Hints your wireless internet adapter is in need of replacing
- The WiFi goes in and out every day
- The wireless adapter in your Dell laptop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The wireless adapter driver cannot be installed
