Dell Inspiron 8000 Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware in order to connect to your router and modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your laptop. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Hints the wireless card will need replacing
- The wireless adapter in your Dell laptop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The laptop wireless driver shows it as not installed
- Your WiFi signal goes out randomly all the time
