Dell Inspiron M102Z 1122 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of information that the CPU is currently using for programs. Some RAM is mandatory in order for a computer to run correctly. The speed of the RAM is governed by the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the system software. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets erased every time you turn your laptop off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like programs or emails. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Simple indications of a faulty RAM board
- The main screen does not turn on when starting up
- The OS produces access errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The OS cannot report the right amount of RAM as it should
- Nothing happens when trying to boot up your laptop
