Dell Latitude 5404 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the information held gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data for the CPU to use for programs. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for a computer to run at all. The speed of the RAM is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the system software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as documents or pictures. But, it has more to do with the overall speed and quickness of your Dell. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that bigger is always better!
Clues of a laboring RAM memory
- The OS produces access errors on your laptop as you use it
- The laptop screen does not turn on when booting up
- Nothing happens as you boot up your system
- The software fails to come up with the correct amount of memory installed
