Dell Latitude 5450 Ram
The clock speed of the RAM is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the operating system. RAM stores random bits of data for the CPU to use for applications. A computer will do nothing at all without having the RAM installed. RAM is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is blanked out when you shut down your system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like programs or emails. Instead, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that bigger is always better!
Simple signals the RAM is on its last leg
- The system produces random reboots on your laptop throughout the day
- The software does not report the correct RAM size
- The laptop screen will not light up when you turn your system on
- Silence when attempting to initiate your laptop
