Dell Latitude 7204 Ram
The RAM speed is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is guided by the system software. Your laptop RAM stores random bits of data that the computer uses for applications. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as documents or pictures. But, it has more to do with the overall speed and quickness of your Dell. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets removed every time your turn the computer off. RAM is necessary even for a computer to run at all. If there is ever a doubt, remember that you can never have too much RAM.
How do you know when your RAM memory is almost dead?
- The screen does not display correctly when starting up
- The OS produces access errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The OS cannot report the right amount of RAM as it should
- Nothing happens when trying to boot up your laptop
